A
Chiddingly history by William Chives
The following pages offer a written account of Chiddingly life as it was
about 100 years ago, written by William Chives
who lived in the Honeywick area. The manuscript of these pages was found
by Karen Lade, his great-grand-daughter,
and given to Chiddingly Parish Council for the general interest of Chiddingly
people.
William Chives also wrote quantities of poetry, mostly about Chiddingly
Church and the old watermill at Stream
in the north of the Parish.
