
This stone slab in the nave covers the grave of Thomas Thunder.
The inscription reads: " Here lies interred the body of Thomas
Thunder, late of
Thunder's Hill; who departed this life March ye 3d, 1710. Aged 60 years
Near this place lies allso the Body of William Thunder Brother to the abovesaid
Thomas Thunder, who departed this life Dec., 1703, aged
[The age is unreadable]
Besides Mr Thunder of Thunder's Hill, there was also a Mr Muddle of Muddles
Green.
