VISITING CHIDDINGLY CHURCH

Chiddingly Church is usually open every day of the year, from about 9am until the evening.

There is a public car park opposite the church, which is free to use.  Please be advised there are no public toilets
in or around the church.  Long-distance footpaths the WealdWay and the Vanguard Way cross over just outside the church.

The Six Bells pub is just down the road, with its own car park. Just Google  "Six Bells Chiddingly".

Chiddingly also has a Friendly Village Shop in Muddles Green one mile away; it is open Monday to Friday and Saturday morning.

The church is noted for its Jefferay Monument, but beware:  when you see the monument there are two standing figures and two lying down.
The Jefferays of the Jefferay monument are the ones lying down; the more prominent standing figures are their daughter and son-in-law.

Just up the road from the Church is Chiddingly Village Hall, which is a separate entity and organisation from the Church. 
It has its own free car park which surrounds it.  It is conveniently available for hire for receptions after baptisms,
weddings, funerals and similar.
